Application Deadline: Nov. 1

The AJC offers fall, spring and summer internships. Fall/spring semester internships offer local students a chance to earn college credit and/or pay. Summer internships are paid, 10-week programs. The AJC is looking for upper-level college students interested in pursuing a career as a reporter, database specialist or interactive producer. Interns are treated as full-time professional journalists and past interns are often considered for open positions.

Internship Requirements
Reporting Qualifications:
Must be a rising junior, senior or graduate student. We also accept applications from those who have graduated within six months of the start of the summer internship. Daily deadline experience preferred. Must have worked on the campus newspaper or website.

Additional Database Specialist or Interactive Producer Qualifications (not required for reporting internship candidates):
Must have solid web programming skills, including demonstrated experience with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax. And, a knack for making clean, clear, creative interactive graphics. Include link to online portfolio.
